If you’re into it….now’s \u00a0the time to try those usually $$$$$ restaurants!<\/p>\n

It’s called Restaurant Week – but it runs from Monday July 25th thru \u00a0August 19th. \u00a0 Check it out! \u00a0Just google – NYC restaurant week summer \u00a02016 and sites will come up describing different options for those three course prix fixe\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0meals, $29 for lunch, $42 for dinner at really nice\u00a0restaurants. \u00a0 Take note – most do not apply to Saturdays and prices don’t include tips,\u00a0beverages or taxes.<\/p>\n

Wonderful restaurants on the list! \u00a0 I do lunch ($29) \u00a0Last year my sisters were in from North Carolina and I made reservations at Nougatine at Jean Georges\u00a0\u00a0across from Central Park. \u00a0It\u00a0\u00a0was delicious and we had a great time. \u00a0Added bonus,\u00a0 we met Mr. Vongerichten, who was there that day. \u00a0We each had a glass of wine – well two. \u00a0After, we \u00a0walked thru Central Park \u00a0as it was a cool, lovely \u00a0summer afternoon. \u00a0 Fun! \u00a0(may not be so cool this coming week with the heat dome overhead – I’d nix the outside dining).<\/p>\n

Enjoy ….\u00a0you foodies out there! And stay cool!<\/p>\n
